Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Harrassement

My ex sister in law for the last 5 yrs. has called DCFS on my business as I had a daycare business that I had for 28 yrs. The guy had been out here at least a dozen times over the last 5 yrs on different complaints. None of them founded. 6 months ago she called them again. She waited until there was no school and I was over the amount that I was suppose to have so they pulled my license. Also she had told them that we drugged the kids and locked them in closets which none of it was true so that was unfounded. DCFS took the older kids by them selves who were just in grade school and ask them all kinds of questions. Nothing was founded except that I was over so the charge is non supervision. I . I have a daughter who is 34 and is mentally handicapped. The other night late at night she walked out by our lane and my ex sister in law picked her up. Took her down to her house and was asking her all kinds of questions about my daycare business. They have called the man out from Springfield for my daughter making false accusations against me so that I will loose my gurardianship over her. None of it was true except the last when she was going down to my sister in laws house and they picked her up. What can I do? Thanks. Cathy

Re: Harrassement

Hello. In my opinion you should seek to get an order of protection against

the ex sister-in law. I would act as quickly as possible. This would keep her from bothering you. I also suggests that you get a lawyer to set this up. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
