Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Hello,I'm behind on my child support(Illinois)and just had a lean put on my checking account. I know that I'm behind because I lost my job but I was wondering if I can get the interest waved. I didn't apply for a adjustment in payments as I don't make the same money that I did in the divorce decree. My daughter is now 20 years old. Thanks

Why are you paying support of your kid is 20, unless you are paying an arrearage. Interest is mandatory.
