Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I own a home and its in only my name and I'm going to get a divorce, am i obligigated to give him half of my home?? We 've been married 3 years..

The home sounds like it is NOT marital property. But if your to-be-ex dumped a long of his/her (?) money into it in 3 years, he/she may have gained some "equity" rights in it. But normally those are rights to be bought out, not the home "split". But why don't you hire a divorce attorney because the home (marital or not) may only be part of the total picture.
