I want my husband to adopt my 4 year old son. One of the questions is the location of the biological father. My questions is does knowing his facebook account count as knowing his location?

Not exactly, however, if you want the adoption to be secure you have to provide the biological father with notice of the adoption proceedings and give him an opportunity to appear and be heard. If you don't you he may show up at a later day and sue to vacate the adoption. Having access to his FB account allows you to a least tell him about the proceedings and ask for a mailing address so that you can notify him of the court proceedings.
