Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My husband had an affair with his boss at work which resulted in a divorce for us. Can I sue his employer for covering this up and allowing both of them to continue to have their jobs? His boss is also married and nothing was done to either of them for this action.

You can sue the boss for alienation of affection. You may be able to sue the employer for the negligent or intentional infliction of emotional distress. Although, the employer may argue that the cover up was to protect you from emotional distress. You need to see an attorney in person to discuss details.
