Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband and I got into a argument and I told him I was taking my kids and going to my sisters for the weekend. Now he says I can not come back to our house that is contracted in both our names and was financed after marriage. Can he legally keep me and my kids from returning to the house?
