Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

If my husband was to buy me out of the house, how would we figuire this out? He says we would base it off of the appraisel and figuire realators fees in also. Is this true?

What do you want to do? There is no fixed means of doing this. If you are not using a realtor, why would you figure in realtors costs and fees? Husband is asking for this to reduce the amount of money he would owe you on buyout. I assume this is a divorce, talk to your lawyer.
