Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My Ex husband was convicted of criminal sexual assault from charges brought by his then minor daughter in 2005. Now he wants to get unsupervised visits with our minor son. He was ordered to have supervised visits by the Illinois courts while on probation following his release from jail. He has just been off probation. I am not sure if he actually can get unsupervised visits and I really don't want him to. We are going to court about this. Can my ex get unsupervised visits and do I have any rights to say who can or cannot be the supervision and be present while at my ex's house?

Hello. Of course your ex-husband must always register as a convicted sex offender, under Illinois law. That will likely haunt him for the rest of his life. In my opinion, it is morely likely that he will be denied unsupervised visits with your minor son because of his classification.
