Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My husband has a daughter with another women. We have been having problems every time we pick her up and drop her. He has a court order stating he gets her every other weekend and every other holiday and 2 weeks in the summer. I believe the true problem lies with the boyfriend or fiance as you will. Every time my husband tries to have a civil conversation with the ex he is always screaming and cursing in the background. This last time he told us my husband he was not getting his daughter. As far as I know he has absolutely no rights at all. Am I correct in that.

You are absolutely right that new boyfriend has no rights as respects the child. You may eventually have to take the case back into court on a contempt citation against the ex-GF because she is not controllinng this person. If he has possession of the child when your husband goes to pick her up and he will not let her go, then your husband should contact police and file a report for interference with visitation and unlawful restraint.
