Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband wants a divorce. He left me in NC and tricked me into giving up our rented house and putting everything into storage in Illinois. I quit my job to move to Illinois to try to work things out because despite everything I still care for him a great deal. Now he has told me he wants nothing to do with me and he wants me to sign a waiver and he will not help me with finances even temporarily. He was in the Marines and just retired. He has medical care and so many opportunities and I am basically homeless and jobless. What can I do?

If 0you need support you need to go to court. If he is in NC, then it is more efficient if you go to court in NC.
