Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband wants a divorce and we have property together..we have been married 27 years..it was his money from an inheritance that paid for our home...what am I entitled too.my name is on the deed and we live in Illinois...thanks for the answer.

If your name is on the deed there is a presumption that he made a gift to the marriage of the inheritance. Anything that is acquired during the marriage is presumed to be marital property.
