Can my husband entitled to 1/2 of settlement

I 've been married for 17 mos. 1 month after my marriage I injurred my back at work. He has taken care of me and taken me to doctor and physical therapy appts. I can never do my job again. If I were to get a divorce, would he be entitled to 1/2 of my injury settlement. I will have to live off of this money. Also, can he get my home I've had for 17 years.
