My husband filed for divorce accusing me of cruelty. My husband has been violent with me and has been arrested.he has verbally abused my kids Why hasn't the judge dismissed the case already?

Why should the judge just dismiss the case? Have you filed a Response to the Petition for Dissolution? Have you denied your husband's grounds and filed your own counter-pettion? A Judge is unlikely to dismiss a Petition for Dissolution for any reason other than the parties never having been married. If your husband wants a divorce, he's going to get a divorce. You should be happy that he has filed regardless of the grounds. Use your Response and Counter-Petition to raise your own grounds and deny his.
