Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband filed for divorce last year. I've been flying back and forth from l.a. to Chicago attending hearings and I have some paperwork. I don't know if I attended a prove up hearing. Why is a prove up hearing necessary? Was one of my past hearings a prove up hearing? (FYI, you people told me to fire my lawyer. And I have been attempting to get a new one,but I can't get one quick enough.)(Don't answer to this post if you're not going to answer my question directly.)Why is a prove up hearing necessary? Was one of my past hearings a prove up hearing?

I told you to call your husband's lawyer and ask me if your divorce was finalized. No one here has any way of knowing what the status of your divorce is because we do not have the court record. I don't recall anyone telling you to fire your lawyers. Both your questions and your demands are unreasonable. Hire a new lawyer.
