Title is not relevant in a divorce. Just because it is in your name does not mean it is not marital property unless you have a written agreement otherwise. Many factors go into determining property issues, such as when the house was purchased, how was it paid for, where the funds to pay the mortgage or any improvements came from. Without a complete analysis of the facts regarding how your purchased the house, it can not be said, without equivocation, that he has no claim to your house.
