Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My husband left me for another woman and is claiming Il as no fault state. I am disabled and recive a disability check each month. When he left I had not been awarded my disability yet and was not working because of disability. He left me with no money and all the bills.
What can I get out of a divorce

First, Illinois is a no fault state. Adultry is irrelevant. I don't know what your husband's personal assets are or what the marital assets are. I don't know what your disability is. I don't know how long the marriage was. I do know that you need to hire a lawyer who knows something about social security disability and I suggest that you do it sooner rather than later.
