Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Husband left almost a year ago but didn't file any paperwork. He sees our child on a regular basis but is falling behind on our bills. Can i move wherever I want with our child?

If no case has been filed, you are free to live wherever you wish. Once a case is filed and the other side is served you cannot move unless the requirements of the law are followed
