Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My husband left me and my 3 year old daughter a year ago, he recently filed for divorce because i got an order of protection against him. Our daughter has been living with me since day one and i never denied him visitations. He was not able to see her while the order of protection was valid, but now it expired and i don't want him seeing her due to his suspected drug use and the enviroment he is in. Can I legally deny him to see his daughter if he filed for the divorce? We live in the state of Illinois. I don't know what I can do, can you please help me.
