Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband and I live in a 2bed condo...we have one child. He stated that we are legally seperated becuase I have had to sleep in the 2nd bedroom with our child for almost a year is this true?

No, it is not. Legal separation requires a judgment of legal separation.
