Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Husband and I are married. i opened a credit card in both our names. I closed the account and having been paying on this account. Now, since my husband and I are getting divorced, he stated to the credit card company it is fraud, which is not.

And your question is?? You have the right to closde an account which is in your name. The fraud may be him, not your actions, as long as you told him you were closing the account. If you did not tll him, then you may have acted improperly.
