Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

me and my husband been married for 2yr n 9 months, he owns a condo and is a franchisee for 7-11. all these years i worked for him and he never paid me. when filing for a divorce will i be able to get any share with the property or his business?

If he owned the business and the condo before you were married, they are probably non-marital property in which you have no interest. You may have a claim for violation of the Illinois Wage Payment Act. Contact the IL Dept of Labor
