Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Husband is in the middle of a workmans comp case along with a third party case. We are going to be getting a divorce. Am I entitled to any of his settlements if we divorce before they are settled?

Yes - they are marital property. A court will usually order that the net proceeds be held until the divorce court can allocate the proceeds - either as a division of marital property or as support if there are children.
