Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My husband is the non-custodial parent. Recently his ex-wife took their child to the dentist and incurred a medical bill of $100. We recieved the bill for services and they refuse to change the billing address and information to the ex-wife. Is it legal for my husband to be named the guarantor even if he was not present or made aware of the visit? Per the divorce decree, she pays the expense she incurrs when the child is with her, and we pay when the child is with us.

What does the order say about medical expenses? If it is as you say sent a letter to the DDS telling him you are not responsible, and send him the portion of the order backing you up, with a copy to the ex.
