My husband has not worked for 8 months now, can this fact be of benefit if I file for divorce

Benefit to whom. Hos not working is not grounds for divorce. his not working may impact many areas of the case

His not working could also be a reason for the court to order you to support him and pay his attorney fees as well as deny you current child support.
