Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

In my husbands divorce decree, it states that he has to maintain insurance for the minor children and that they BOTH are responsible for the balance of medical bills 50%/50%...problem is, she doesnt pay her 50% and since he is the guarantor, it negatively reflects on his credit.....how can he protect himself, his credit and our future when she refuses to be responsible??

He can pay the whole bill to the provider and wait for her to reimburse him. Other than that, there's not much he can do.
