Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My husband's lawyer is lying to the 2nd judge in this case. He told the present judge that they heard testimony, but it is not true. I'm running out of money and I am in california. His lawyer gave me a proposal for property and I responded via e-mail. is his lawyer trying to mess me up? Should I be e-mailing him?

If you are not here how do you know whether your husband's lawyer is lying to the Judge or not. If your husband is the only one here, the Judge only had to hear his testimony. What you should do immediately is hire a lawyer here to represent you. If you are not going to do, you should settle immediately for the best deal you can get. Otherwise, you are not going to be represented by anyone.
