Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

What happens if my ex ignores court orders with my visitation? I know that she will be found in contempt of court? but is there any punishment for it? or will she constantly just be slapped on the wrist?

she was illegally recording he and i visits without my knowlege or permission.

after i found the recording device and turned it over to authorities; she has not let me have my son?

i don't want to know if she'll be in trouble for the recording device.

i want to know will she actually have punishment for withholding my son from me when it is court ordered?

Indirect Criminal Contempt petition might go father than normal civil petitions. However you'll need to knuckle up and get an attorney to prosecute.
