Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

In Illinois the age of consent is 17. Can a legal guardian interfere with a relationship, since a person under 18 is considered a minor, even though the relationship is legal? Also, is it illegal if a hotel room is shared with a legal adult and a 17 year old, even though 17 is the age of consent?

What gives you the idea that the "age of consent" is 17. A legal guardian has control over a minor until age 18.
