In Illinois do you have to file a Motion to Terminate child support or can the employer stop payments once child reaches 18?

The order should have a termination date that the employers generally follow. Otherwise motion it up.

Even though the child may have reached, if the child has not graduated high school, support continues. An employer usually wants the protection of a court order terminating the withholding order
