My son's father disagrees with the recend diagnoses on my sons adhd and not listening to me and causing resistence and telling the dr's office he has the right to my sons medical files.

If they are a parent they are entitled to access to medical records unless there is a court order barring same. As a parent he is entitled to same. If you have an order of custody, then he has no say in the medical care, unless the court has given him a say. If he objects to the care he has to go to court.
