Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

In Illinos, at what age do children have a say in which parent with whom they would like to live? The parents currently have joint custody with the mother having residential custody.

There is no hard and fast rule, other than at 18. A younger child, depending on his or her maturity may have a say, but there are many factors involved.
