Insurance and child support
my daughter's father suppose to carry their health insurance. He dropped them ahe said he couldn't afford it since his secretary left. I put them on the ste funded ''All care.'' My eldest was diagnosed with a serious genetic disorder. Now he states insurance will be to high for him to carry. He is an invester and has numerous, many, properties. I am remarried and he is doing nothing about it. He and I divorced due to domestic violence and I have been afraid to take him back to court b=he seems to know everyone. We been divorced 4 years and I want to know if he is also obligated by law to carry her insurance throughout college as well as longer due to this illness and is the same for child support? I have poor health and run her everywhere. My husband and I do not own anything.

If the decree says he needs to pay insurance, then he is subject to contempt of court.
Depending on the illness, it may extend beyond college.

Well it seems like this is a pretty straight forward 'post-decree' matter. You have to go to court and ask for the judge to enforce the divorce decree. Usually, you can can get the court to order that the other party reimburse you for legal fees you had to pay to enforce the decree. So it makes sense to get an attorney, go to court, and have the attorney petition for legal fees from your husband.
