Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

joint personal property

My husband and I are separating but are staying married until our house sells. He wants to move to Texas to be close to family and to work there. I have no problem with him doing this except for the fact that he wants to take our boat with him. Can I legally stop him from taking our boat out of state? My name in on the title.

Also, he wants to trade in his car for a truck so that he can pull the boat and trailer. He is going to be solely responsible for the payments but I am on the title to his current car. Don't I have to sign something in order for the dealer to transfer the titles?
