How is the 6 month waiting period verified by the court? Is a signature obtained by fax valid?

Re: Joint Simplified Divorce
Hello. Usually a signed agreement
by the parties acknowledging that they
are waiving the two year requirement and that they have been separated for
6 months is enough. However, I do not think I would use a fax in court as proof that the other party signed.
Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
