Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

In July 2011 I was arrested in Kane co Il, domestic, charged w aggravated assault and possesion of firearm no foid card. Also have an op on me. they dropped the assault and I was just charged w a misdemeanor on the gun charge. I was told if i dont get in any trouble in a year everything would be dropped. Well in Dec 2011, My son had me arrested, domestic in Will co IL, charged w misdemeanor and also an op in which i cannot even enter my own residence. I go to court Jan 9th. If the charges are dropped will it still be considered a violation of my probation in Kane County?

The arrest itself is generally considered to be sufficient to violate your probation but it will all depend on the circumstances of the arrest. You should consult a criminal lawyer.
