Re: Lawyer

Greetings -

I assume the other lawyer has filed a motion for

a continuance. He or she will have to show

good faith in asking for a continuance. In Illinois a party and/or an attorney can be

financially penalized (sanctioned) for filing a

motion that has no merit or is frivilous. Hopefully, you have an attorney. If not, I suggests that you hire one. Representing yourself

can be a dangerous proposition.
