I was told i am entitled to 50% of her 401k that she accumulated in our last 11years of marriage. She has a large amount that would allow me roughly $17,000 . My question is because i have very little money now is there ANY WAY OF PAYING ONE OF YOU LAWYERS AFTER I GET HER SETTLEMENT FROM HER 401K ?? PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP I BELIEVE I HAVE 30 DAYS FROM WHEN I WAS SERVED WHICH WAS ....9/14/2011. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP ME.

Unlike personal injury actions, actions under the IMDMA (ie, divorce) can not be taken on a "contingency" basis unless it's post decree. Post Decree means well after the divorce. For purposes of your question, no.
