Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

leagal advise needed. please

I know of a person who was adopted, his name was given to him by us, his adopted parents who raised him, now he has gone back to his birth mother, she is going back to court to change his name back to the name she gave him,so he can keep from paying child support. does he need to get a new number from social security, or does his number carry on to his name change? Name change and SS# are two separate matters. You change name and SS# follows. You change SS# and it follows the person.
