Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I need help. I can't get my ex to leave. I just paid all my money for the rent for the next two weeks on the weekly we were staying in. I am afraid of him. I don't have anywhere to go and the office won't refund me the money. The room is in my name, and he has never paid anything towards the room. I have begge him to leave, but he wont. What do I do?

If you are renting a room, if he is your ex, you could either 1) file an eviction or 2) call the police. The eviction will take a month and the police will say it is a domestic dispyte. Shee if the LL will change the locks,.
