my ex left the state

my ex wife has sole custody of our 2 daughters. she won't let me see them. my ex told me she was going to take the girls and move to IN in about 30 to 60 days after she found a new job. she up and left with the girls the next day with out letting me see the girls or telling them bye. has she broken any laws?

She may have violated the terms of your divorce decree, but I would have to see that. Police are not going to get involved without a court order that the parents action was improper. You are going to have to go to court and do this through civil court, specifically the post decree matrimonial docket.

I can say that normally, a decree will not allow the actions you listed. If you want to show me the decree, I can give you more specific advice.
