I want to know how do I go about getting legal separation from my husband and we have a house together?

Legal separation is something you need to bring a Petition for in court just like a divorce. What are you trying to accomplish? Legal separation is fairly rarely used because it only provides for two possible remedies: payment of child support and payment of spousal support. Separation does NOTHING with marital property.
