Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Are there any legal documents that can be signed before marriage, so that neither spouse would have to pay alimony, if they were to get a divorce? Does a prenuptial aggreement take care of this?

Yes, to an extent. If the court finds that it is unfair at the time of your divorce to not pay alimony (even if you two signed an agreement not to pay), it will order you to pay it anyway as a matter of public policy.
