Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Is there a legal term when an attorney my ( ex-wife's ) tries to over inflate his legal fees as a means to intimidate me into dropping a change of custody request for my 16 year old son? In the past on other issues, he was successful in being awarded huge unsubstantiated fee, but this time I feel he's just over inflating as a means of intimidation.

I'm acting pro se and need to find the legal term to help combat his request for $40K
