Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I live in an apartment with my spouse and three kids from my previous marriage. My current marriage is terrible, and I realize that I made a huge mistake after 2 years.Can i kick him out of the apartment? The lease is in my name?

No but he can't stop you from leaving and taking your children with you. If there are domestic violence issues, ask for an OOP. If you want a divorce, file and then ask the court to five you exclusive possession of the apartment. But first, you may just want to ask him to leave voluntarily.
