Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I live in Ill. I collect child support for my daughter (17 years old)and she has run away 3 times, and now in custody of a childrens service center and has temporaily put her in a foster home. I have offered it to the service center to give them the support check to give to her foster parents. They said I would have give it to my daughter but I know she iswith the check? not responsible enough to have the money. Should I just put it into a bank account until such time she is responsible or return the check to the state or what should I legally do with the check?

Put it in the bank until someone with proper authority seeks to make a claim for it, if ever.
