Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

i live in illinois. my wife deserted me and moved out of state. she lives in new mexico with her boyfriend. my question is can i take my name back without her consent in the divorce. i do not have an address for her, she wont talk to me.

If your question is "can you bar her from using your last name" after your marriage is dissolved, the answer is No. If you took her name at the time of the marriage, then Yes.
