Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Currently I'm still living with & married to my husband in Morris, Ill., but I want a divorce. I want to move back to my home in Oklahoma where I will be with loving supportive family again. My question is: Can I move back to Tulsa, Oklahoma & then file for a divorce there? We have two little girls together [age 3 & 1]

You could move back but in order to file in OK you have to meet that State's requirements for divorces, and that could take time if you were not married to him and lived with him there. Your moving out of State with the girls is an entirely different issue but removing them to another State and depriving their father of visitation will become an issue, sooner or later. Talk to a divorce lawyer here before you leave.
