Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

How long do you have to pay medical bills

My step daughter turned 18 over a year ago. Her mother pulled out many medical bills that we did not know about after we took her back to court to end child support. Our lawyer after 18 months of us paying we fell beyond quit on us. We had one court case left to wrap up the last little bit. I want to know how long we have to repay these medical bills.

Re: How long do you have to pay medical bills

Hello. The length of time that you will have to

pay the bills will depend on the type of motion

that is filed on your behalf and the amount of

money owed. Will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
