Lost Spouse

I cannot find my spouse to send him

divorce papers. I think he lives in GA,

but I am not sure. He is in the army. I

don't know what to do

Quite frankly it depends on what you want or need to accomplish in your case. First a court is going to require that you make a pretty serious inquiry before it will do anything. If you know he's in the military it really shouldn't be too hard to track him down and get him served.

If you really can't get him served, a court can rule on parts of a divorce without what's known as personal jurisdiction. A court can generally grant a divorce and deal with child custody issues without personal jurisdiction but it can't divide property or order a person to pay child support if there's no personal jurisdiction.
