If a male spouse purchased a home prior to marriage in Illinois, gets married then divorces 2 years later, what is the female spouse entitled to as far as the house is concerned?

There are two theories - one is that she is entitled to nothing as what was paid was for the use and occupancy of the home. - the other is that she is entitled a portion of the reduction in principal - which is probably negligible..
